I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and you have to mix in ingredients like frog feet, bat wings, apple seeds, dog's teeth etc. to make potions to heal your ailments and it reminded me of jaminhealth.

Here's another, almost true:

My paternal great grandfather migrated to the US from Germany with his brother before WWI.  His brother settled in Montana, married a Chinese woman and together they opened a fusion restaurant, serving dishes like sweet and sour kraut  or hossenffefer cantonese.  It was a big success.  The only complaint was that an hour after eating people found that they were hungry .......

To be fair I also laughed.  The angry smiley (is that an oxymoron?) was an over reaction. We used to have a jaw dropping smiley and that was what I wanted to post in a fake outraged kinda way.

No problem. Btw I never heard of calf's brain... ??? There is a "Bregenwurst" (Brain sausage) but that doesn't contain brain anymore. I believe it did at some point but brain matter mustn't be used in  food anymore. I'm not sure but I believe that was because of BSE or something. Wouldn't want to try it anyway. 8-P

The foods I mentioned are things I have read about. Bill Bryson mentions calf’s brains being on a German language menu but it could have been in Switzerland or Austria.
