Entertainment rag Variety reports that the Lionsgate company has officially approved production of a dance movie which is a sequel to the 1980s hit Dirty Dancing.

Better yet, the lovely, yet unrecognizable Jennifer Grey :-* will not only act in the flick, but she’ll also be executive producer. Indeed... nobody puts Baby in a corner. 8)

That's all Hollywood does these days. Reboots, reboots and more reboots. No creativity, nothing original and often very little understanding / respect of the source material. 8-P
