Football star Christiano Ronaldo was spotted wearing an iPod Shuffle this Monday before a game in Turin, Italy. He had it attached to his tie, while entering the stadium and meeting fans on his way.

The iPod Shuffle that Christiano Ronaldo was using was the fourth-generation model, released in 2010. Apple does not sell these new anymore, as they were discontinued in 2017, however, used iPod Shuffles still go for around $20 on eBay.

I have an iPod classic that I won't give up. So easy to use with one hand while standing up on trains, buses, etc, or even walking down the street. None of the annoyance of temperamental touch screens which you always have to look at and use both hands for and never do what you want them to. There is definitely something to be said for single-function devices like this.

I've got two of them, both over ten years old obviously, and they work just fine. A couple of times I've had to have the battery replaced or other repairs done, but after that they continue to work fine. That's another good thing about them. Unlike some of the newer things, they can actually be repaired.

It does look a bit silly to still have an iPod in 2020 (just like how silly it would have been to have an old 90s PC in 2010). Although I really thought they discontinued iTunes services altogether, but it looks like they just deleted the app on newer softwares and you can still access the store via the website.

Nothing wrong with that. I still have one but i find it funny how kids nowadays are being laughed at for not having the latest iPod or iPhone while a multi-millionaire like Ronaldo is still using an old iPod shuffle from a decade ago! Not even wearing an airpod!!
