You had a bit of this in the 2000s already, but this is the decade where you saw the point of no return. Everyone so immersed in their smartphones and obsessed with social media they forget how to socialize. This is the decade is where technology hit a point of no return and we saw the clear negative effects right in front of our eyes and there was no denying how bad technology has gotten for society. I will say 2008-onwards had this, but all of the 2010s decade has it so that's why.

Smartphones weren't the norm until 2011. But I agree, fu** the 2010s.

2020 made the 2010's look good in retrospect, but yeah, I'm not really nostalgic for it, especially not the middle part (early part a little and somewhat for 2018).

2020 was caused by the trash politics of the 2010s.

What was wrong with it? The music seemed pretty cool. Was it because of the cold war or something?

It was a rough time, constantly being bullied by a karate gang who run over boom boxes on their bikes at the beach.
