What was the worst year of the 2010s in your opinion? Personally I would choose 2012, with 2018 being a close second.

2014. In some ways worse than 2020, but mainly with my personal life. Also the later half of 2013 which continued into the first half of 2014 (things started to turn around in H2 of '14). It was a time when I woke every morning knowing my day was going to be miserable, and my stress and anxiety level was at an all time high. 2016 wasn't too far behind as it was like 2020 minus the pandemic, but it was an election year with Trump running (and winning) and there was a lot of tension and division, violence and unrest, and a lot of social justice issues. Also I had 3 deaths in my family. The first half of the year was what prevented from being the absolute worst year.

2013 when gender conforming fashion and anemic music replaced previous artistic trends in fashion and music for good. 2016, I would be tempted to rank higher because of political stuff (where fascism became more legitimized and people like me would be more in danger even just by looking at me) but it's personally not affected me as much at least, because I've spent most of my time outside the US and certain other affected countries.

That's odd, 2017 lasted the exact same amount of time as all the other years. It wasn't even  leap year which would have given it an extra day.

2017 was awful in the UK - Brexit fallout, messy general election, two major terrorist attacks plus a few smaller ones.

2018.

There was just NO hope in that year for Emohood whatsoever. After 5 years of not being tolerated, things don't look bright for your group. And it was not even the end of it, because 2019 was just around the corner.

The one saving grace of 2019 was that a few people were enthused about the "rawring 20s", but that year was also terrible in general.
