Subject: Has the marijuana craze of the early 2010s aged bad?

I remember thousands of people protesting in different cities of the world in favor of the cannabis legalization, while most of them did it just as an excuse for smoking weed on the streets. Even one of my teachers back then used to spend his whole class speaking about that topic, instead of teaching something more useful. Whether I'm in favor or not, it just seems hilarious that all of that happened ;D, while other more important issues were clearly ignored.

Mid 2010s? I always though the marijuana fad was more of a 2008-2013 era thing. That's when I heard people saying stuff like "Yolo swag 420 blaze it" and "Smoke weed everyday" and stoner comedies by Seth Rogen were popular.

Mid 2010s? It has always been a thing, at least in Canada. Probably peaked in the 1960s/1970s but never really went away. What did Bill Clinton say about it? I smoked but I never inhaled, lol.

The mid 2010s was just 4 years ago. Is it different now? I haven’t noticed any difference tbh.

I know that weed has always been a thing, but somehow there were a lot memes about it, even more than now. Although I don’t know exactly how was it before 2010 :P

I love that weed is legal and I can just buy it from a store here in my state. It’s brought in new jobs and tax revenue. The whole cannabis industry has really revolutionised in past decade so if anything this fad has aged well IMO.

They’re still trying to get it legalized where I’m at. And the radio is airing these stupid fear mongering type ads. ::) Unfortunately the morons they elect here think Reefer Madness is a documentary.
