*Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, J. Cole, etc.

Mumble rap/trap era: 2013 - mid 2016
*Future, Migos, Young Thug, Fetty Wap, Rich Homie Quan, Rae Sremmurd, etc.

Emo trap/SoundCloud rap era: late 2016 - 2018
*21 Savage, Lil Pump, 6ix9ine, XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, etc.

Bling trap/alternative trap era: 2019 - now
*DaBaby, Blueface, NLE Choppa, Polo G, Roddy Ricch, Lil Nas X, etc.

The era boundaries are accurate, and I also can't believe that trap stayed relevant for this long. The subgenre really is that transcendent.
