Hello, I hate this current decade, let's keep circlejerking about it until le glorious 90s return

I miss 2005 especially. In 2005 it was a chill laid back vibe, everyone was in the swimming pool, watching cartoons and playing video games. Nobody was talking about politics or depression and nobody had a cellphone. I didn't even know who the president was. Now in 2019 everything is about politics, making fake small talk, always on their phone, and no one goes outside anymore, they're always at work. I wait at the playground and it's ALWAYS empty. I wish it was 2005 again.

I literally do nothing with my life. I just sit on my computer complaining about the present because the 2010's are so boring. It's not my fault, it's the current billboards fault.

I don't see anybody going outside anymore. I myself have not been outside since 2001, or 2002.

This truly is the decade of hell. This 2010s is worse than the 1930s because I don't like anything from this decade.

If I was homeless at least I wouldn't have my face stuck to my phone all day. Life was simpler with no technology.

I rarely do nothing with my life either, I come home from work and after I take my shower I'm on the computer for the rest of the day, I have two friends which I hang out on occasionally, I rarely have any hobbies either.

To explain, I was satirizing someone who was a child in 2005 but is oblivious to that fact, and compares the life of an adult in 2019 to that of being a child in 2005.

Yeah, I would rather live in the 1300s and suffer the terrible Black Plague than live one second of this hellish decade. I would rather witness the rise of Nazism and be broke during the Great Depression in the 1930s. I would rather live in a time where black people were treated badly because of their skin color. Those times were so much better to live than this decade of hell. Worst decade ever amirite?

I recently read about the era right after the Black Plague and it's interesting how in Europe the peasants due to their small population became more empowered over aristocrats and started demanding worker rights. Democracy was on the rise back then unlike today. I would gladly switch.

There's been way worse decades in history. The 2010's isn't the "decade from hell" just because the billboard charts don't fit your music taste.  ::) ;D

Homicide rates actually bottomned out in 2014/2015. 2014 had the lowest homicide rate since the early 1960s. I mentioned this in the my "Why the 2010s are the best decade" that I made back in 2016. We live in incredibly peaceful times, we should be grateful for that.
