Hey, that was the month that I turned 10 years old, hitting my double-digits and going to the movies to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I think I started to go through puberty around this time as well. This was also the beginning of the end for my childhood. Starting 5th grade made me feel a little more like an adolescent/preteen than an actual child. This time next year, though I would say was the official end of my childhood.

Ahh, my first summer in Canada! I was 8 years old at the time and I used to watch lots of spongebob and phineas and ferb on TV, and I'd play with my hot wheels cars. But the funny thing was, instead of watching Diary of a wimpy kid dog days, I watched Rodrick Rules hahaha, but yeah. Watching Disney channel and YTV was a lot of fun! On the radio, I kept hearing those songs that are shown on the pictures, especially those that are from one direction, but I really liked the music, and I really miss those times. Yolo, swag, and those other slangs my sister used to say, I tried to be cool by saying those haha. But yeah, fun times! :D I wish I could travel back in time :-\\

For the UK, especially London, for in August, it was the 2012 Summer Olympics!

Yeah, the mood of the country was really good at the time despite the economy still being quite weak. There was so much national pride, and the UK truly felt like an open, global country.
The complete opposite of now.
