We've entered the final era of the 2010s, late 2019. About 97% of the 2010s is done. This is the era where everything we did as a society in the 2010s flashes through our eyes. I wanted to make a thread as a kind of countdown to 2020.

In January 2010 I was living in Oregon job less and moved in with my cousin down in Southern California but moved back to Oregon in December 2010.

I was in high school at the start of the decade.

The start of the 2010s was also very cold and snowy in the UK - January 2010 was the coldest January for over 30 years at the time, while December 2010 was the second coldest December ever.

2010 was also a rare colder-than-average year. I doubt we’ll be seeing one again for many years, if at all.

Can't believe it, pretty exciting. I'm hoping to move provinces before the new year begins. It will then feel like a really different decade for me.

The time I'll miss about the 2010s the most is the early 2010s. 2010-2012, damn how I miss it so much. Electropop stars like Rihanna, Gaga, Katy, etc. EDM stars like Calvin Harris, Zedd, Avicii, and LMFAO. I also remember playing Minecraft Pocket Edition lite on my iPhone 3GS back in 2012, I miss exploring the map and coming to the edge of the map as well. Youtubers like annoying orange, Tobuscus, Ray William Johnson, Ryan Higa, etc. Before Old Town Road and Despacito, we had Thrift Shop and Gangnam Style, everyone would sing that in our 3rd grade classroom, I was a part of it. Games like Minecraft, Club Penguin, Miniclip games, Spongebob games, Roblox, AC Brotherhood, Halo 4, and Soul Calibour 4 pretty much defined my early 2010s childhood. Besides electropop, I'd listen to some hip hop/r&b from eminem, Bruno Mars, Travie McCoy, I miss the non-trap days. I also remember watching shows like Spongebob and Phineas and Ferb. I was addicted to watching those shows on my thick flatscreen TV. My parents were SOO into Big Bang Theory and Breaking Bad. I also miss the detective style movies like Mission Impossible, Bourne Legacy, Johnny English, Despicable Me, Source Code, etc. Those were the Sh*t! I was 5-8 years old back then, in 2010-2011, I lived in Dubai. I remember going to Dubai Mall and watching Burj Khalifa, and going to a lot of malls. What a rich city. I went to a private school then, and things were very hard for me to learn, those were one of the only downsides. And then, we went to Canada, it was fun going to a new country as well! Things became a lot easier with the education system in Canada, and I've had fond memories with my first days here. -Sigh- great times.  :)

Yes I would pretty much say so, it wasn't much of a good decade.

The first day of January 2020 marks 5 years since I first joined this forum. I was still only 19.
