2019 may become known as the Year of the Reboot.
NBC streaming is now looking to restart production of The Office.

This is Along the lines of the Hogan’s Heroes and Saved by the Bell reboots mentioned earlier in this forum.
And it does not stop there.
In addition to the Office, HH, and SBTB reboots, they are also considering reviving Battlestar Gigantica. I wonder who they’ll get to play Lorne Greene’s role? ??? Hopefully Erin Gray :-* will reprise her role as Wilma.

Just like in later seasons before it ended, it's just not the same without Steve Carell.

I can see them doing a reboot of The Office without Steve Carrell but they would need to find someone that had the personality of him.

I’d like to see the movie Porky’s rebooted as a TV series. Of course it would need to be streaming, as broadcast TV would not work for that sort of humor.

Well Kim Cattrall could reprise her role as “Lassie”, who would now Angel Beach High’s athletic director, and perhaps Kaki Hunter could come back as a guidance counselor.
Tony Ganios is still out there and so he could come back as Meat. The father of Meat, Jr.
Cast members who could not return would be Beulah Balbricker, Porky, the Principal, and Tommy Turner. :\'(
