Subject: In the 2010s, It's Cool Not to be Cool?

One of the things I've noticed this decade is the trend of it being cool not to be cool... In the 2000s, everyone knew what being cool was. Everyone knew who the cool kids were... What was cool was clearly defined. But in the 2010s, if you are a geek and uncool, you are considered cool. ??? This was a weird decade. This concept was unlike any other decade before it. Anyone know what I mean?
