Subject: Late 2017 had a small shift

I know this sounds odd as Late 2016 to Late 2018 are in the same era, but Late 2017 had somewhat of a shift, here are the factors:
-Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds enter the mainstream
-Cardi B becomes popular with Bodak Yellow
-Mumble Rap accelerates in popularity with acts like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Pump, 6ix9ine, etc.
-Pop artists like Dua Lipa, Post Malone, and Bazzi enter the mainstream
-Emo Rap also becomes popular with XXXTentacion
-Hipster Culture fully died out.
This shift was basically non-existent though, 2017 and 2018 are 95% similar.

If you're wondering why I tossed Post Malone here, well it's simple, he was meant to be a "One Hit Wonder" with White Iversion in 2015, but then, Congratulations broke that One Hit Wonder status, and became an actual singer/rapper

Around mid/late 2017 was when late 2010s culture fully arrived.

agree! I felt like the shift wasn't as big as others but it was definitely there. It was the point mid became late in pop culture in the 2010's!

I agree, although the mid 2010s vibe was dying since late 2017, its remnants continued on until late 2018/early 2019

No, late 2010s part 2 arrived. Late 2010s culture has been around since 2016.

Yes but it was very, very small and nowhere near as big as the shift of 2015 - 2016.
