Subject: Using a tablet as a phone?

Was that a fad in 2013-2014? Or still going? My eyesight suffered due to surfing on my phone so I'm thinking why not just get a tablet with phone function. Sure it would be cumbersome to hold it while talking but I can use headphones for calls, right? This makes sense for smartphones as well due to the radiation. :)

The numbers on the keypad are huge, and you can put it in your pocket, unlike a tablet phone or a “phablet”.

well foldable phones are a thing now so you could get one of those. they cost around 2000$ tho :o

...same for me, I do not like sending messages or posting online on a phone. Before my tablet crashed, it served me well.

I now use my old mobile phones as cameras, and one of them is still suitable for Wi-Fi connection.
