Subject: Rumour Has It... Adele is Back on the Market
Written By: LyricBoy on 04/20/19 at 9:26 am
The mononymous British chanteuse Adele and her hubs for two years, Simon Konecki, are throwing in the towel.

That’s it, she quit, she’s moving on.

She's just right for me, even though I'm an older man.

30 is too old for you? You’re 24 aren’t you? Not that much of a gap.

I would pay $300 to see how you (TRULY) feel about this belief/feeling when you're 32.
30 is right around the corner. You'll see.

I think there are probably different priorities for most 24 year olds and most 30 year olds. A lot of late 20s/early 30s people want to settle down and I guess a lot of people our age aren’t ready for that just yet. But as someone who is 24 in the summer, I would probably say 19-34 is my preferred range right now. I’d definitely consider going older than that but I’d be more reluctant going younger. I think 24 is more like 30 than 18, and 18 year olds seem really young to me.

While there is definitely truth to this, the gap between 24 and 30 is much closer than you think. I can tell you are kind of underestimating how fast age 30 will hit you. Eh. You'll find out tho. But I guess it does start to get funny when you hit my age (I turn 33 later this year) so I think your preference range is okay. Apart from age-dating preferences, as someone who didn't get serious about his finances until the very late 20s/very early 30s, I really wish I had gotten or started to get my finances in order a lot earlier but I was too immature to keep in mind how fast time moves. 30 seems to be this really huge milestone in people's heads, especially people under 30 but it's likely you'll be in a similar situation at 30 that you were around 26 or 27.

My sister is 31 and I would always find it weird to date someone my sister's age. Her and her friends saw me as a little kid when I was a little kid. It would just feel odd. For me, 20 - 27 range is ideal right now.

My cousin married a dude who was 29 years older than her, and who had kids older than her. It worked out fine.
Although a year or so ago, i had to explain to my 22 year old cousin how it came to be that his grandfather was born in 1880. 😂

That's such a huge age gap.

There is next to no difference between a woman at 27 and a woman at 31 these days, but I get where you're coming from. I just think you'll really miss out if you turn down a great woman you get along with and who has complimentary goals and values just because she's 31.

I agree with you, and I think 30 is one of the best ages to be. I am looking forward to it. Nobody takes you seriously at 23. You might disagree but I honestly think you are in the prime of your life right now. There was actually a survey in the UK recently and British people think 36 is the best age to be. Enjoy it.
