I think we are inching closer to the 2020s incoming culture quickly, but yes we still are in the late 2020s so you can't ever really notice when the early 2020 feel will be here until it actually get here. But since the year 2020 is just 1 year away it would be cool predicting this stuff for the fun of it.You can give a year or say an event that may wipe away the 2010 feel for the early 2020s feel.

Maybe the 2010s feel will last well into the early 2020s and you'll never really feel a chance until 2022 or 2023 eventhough I just made a thread stating and asking when you guys and gals think there will be a bigger transition 2020 or 2021. Im pretty sure the presidential election in 2020 could cause a new feel especially if we get a new candidate elected, but what do you guys think when do y'all think the early 2020s feel will start setting in.

We're fully in the late 2010s era (Late 2018-Present), so so far, we would not know maybe till late 2019? 2020/21?

As for a cultural change or not, it's far too early to judge. We can't really predict what might happen in October this year, so would it make sense to know how to predict for the next few years.

I think 2020 - 2021 will be a very transformative school year, and will be the next shift, which will also align with the next US presidential election. I honestly don't see 2019 having any changes. Even 2020 will be pretty 2010s. No one really knows what '20s pop culture will be like at this point in time. I just hope trap gets abolished soon.
