Since I made a 2016 fad topic, I decided to also do it for 2017 hehe.
Two words:
Fidget. Spinners.
Name some other fads of 2017, and what were your favourites and least favourites?

Latin pop. The genre's popularity this decade is almost exclusive to 2017.

Yeah, Latin pop was fun to listen to, but it got overplayed fast lol, most especially Despacito.

Also, satisfying videos like slime and fidget cubes were also popular, and fashion was influenced by Kylie Jenner. Oh, and snapchat filters, I doubt anybody uses them anymore. There were also some games like Pubg and Prey being popular in 2017, but died too soon.

Didn't really pay much attention to pop culture that year, yet I still was very aware of Fidget Spinners.
I dunno about the Latin Pop trend being over. People couldn't shut up about Bad Bunny last year, and "I Like It" and "Taki Taki" were everywhere.

2017 saw the triumphant rise and meteoric fall of Pumperskittles. EVERYBODY wanted them, and then NOBODY liked them. I knew that pumpernickle skittles would NOT taste good. But you can't convince stupid people not to vote for a baffoon of a president let alone some nasty ass skittles.
