Subject: Do we need celebrity drama to generate disccusion?

Or am I looking into it wrong? It seems we can't generate intentional discussion without the aid of celebrity conscious, looks to Kanye West. Discussion is seeming to take a celebrity going ape to usually get everyone in their seats, then back to square one.

If I'm misunderstanding the conscious of pop culture discussion, I'll definitely speak for my self.
