Here's more stuff:
*Twerking (probably more of a 2013 and 2014 thing)
*The entire SJW vs. Alt-right thing is both mid and late 2010's; it started in around 2014.
*Musical.ly
*Ice Bucket Challenge
*Charlie Charlie Challenge
*We Bare Bears
*Undercuts
*Whole Foods and Trader Joe's
*Kylie Jenner Lips Challenge
*The "rise of incels"
*The legalization of gay marriage

2016 was probably the only year it was even relevant.

Jacob Sartorius was probably the king of Musical.ly. I don't hear much from him nowadays.
Undercuts did peak in the mid 2010s but they're basically a wholly 2010s thing. I saw some undercuts as early as late 2010 and I still see them, but not a lot like in 2015-2016.

Minecraft imo was more early 2010s but it did continue being popular in the mid 2010s.

I thought Musical.ly was more of a late 2015-early 2016 thing?

Musical.ly did peak in late 2015 - early 2016. I first heard about it in the summer of 2015, then it was everywhere during the 2015-2016 school year. But somehow in the second half of the 2016-2017 school year, it's not really a hot thing anymore. That's why Musical.ly is considered mid 2010s.

Late 2015-Early 2016 is mid 2010's. Absolutely.

Late 2015-Early 2016 is mid 2010's. Absolutely.
Here's how I view the 2010s school years:
2009-2010: Hybrid of late 2000s and early 2010s
2010-2011: Early 2010s
2011-2012: Early 2010s
2012-2013: Early 2010s
2013-2014: Transition from the early to mid 2010s
2014-2015: Mid 2010s
2015-2016: Mid 2010s
2016-2017: Transition from the mid to late 2010s
2017-2018: Late 2010s
2018-2019: Late 2010s
2019-2020: Possibly a hybrid of late 2010s and early 2020s
