Kinda hard to say.  I think the late 10s are tied with the early 10s.

Once we get into 2019 I'll feel better.

I personally hate the late 2010s so far, so definitely not. 2010 - 2012 were probably the only years I somewhat liked. My personal life has just been very bad in the past few years.

The mid-2010s have been really great for my personal life though. Jan. 2014  - Sept. 2016 was the best time of my life. Jan. 2017 - present, I felt meh.

I dislike the rising influence of conservatism (especially in relation to social issues) of the late 2010s and I dislike the aesthetic of the mid-2010s. I can tolerate the early 2010s the most though even though there were many things I hated about it as well.

There are some aspects that are better and some that are worse. The early 2010s will always be my favorite though😍.

Here's a very brief summary of what I think of each part of the 2010s:

Early 2010s (2010 - 2012): I am not exactly the biggest fan but, I did somewhat like this period and it might have something to do with my age. Television was pretty good during this time, Movies were pretty decent too, the fashion was a very mixed bag and the music was very upbeat, energetic and full with life (though, not what I would consider good, atleast it was fun to hear). This was probably the last period when I was into current video gaming (I haven't cared at all since 2014). Internet culture was a mixed bag, Youtube still had alot of content to offer and the Internet memes were quite memorable. Politically, the early 2010s were alot better and was no where near as crazy as the mid-late 2010s have been, it was a much better time socially. The thing that did suck about the early 2010s though was the crappy economy recovering after the recession. My personal life was also still pretty good around this time.

Mid 2010s (2013 - 2016): This period sucked for me and there are a number of reasons why. The Television was pretty good I will admit, the movies quite decent too, the fashion in my opinion was too hipstery and boring and, the music came off as annoying and boring (I just remember really not liking the music). The video gaming was completely boring (especially 2014). This is also when I lost track of internet culture, Youtube was declining a bit and losing diversity, I couldn't stand Vine at all and I'm personally not a big fan of Snapchat or Instagram (I do see why these are popular and liked by many people though). Politically, this was when the 2010s were getting bad, with Isis, the rise of mass shootings, the ebola outbreaks and alot more. Socially this was when, racism started to get alot of attention, protesting and riots were slightly rising, we saw the rise of SJWs and the Alt-right (I can't stand both) and obviously more. The economy was getting much better so I guess that's something good. My personal life was going down the drain around this time too.

Late 2010s (2017 - Present): I dislike this period just as much as the mid 2010s. The Television I will admit is pretty good (and has been this whole decade), the movies are quite decent (especially 2018), the fashion is kinda boring (pretty similar to the mid 2010s), the music just comes off as boring, dull and lifeless (the complete opposite to the early 2010s). I don't care at all for the video gaming, the Internet culture is just as crappy as the mid 2010s, Youtube still lacks a bit of diversity, alot of the Internet memes are random and unfunny (not all though), atleast we have seen the death of Vine and Prank channels. Politically, everything just feels like a continuation of the mid 2010s, with the mass shootings (they have gotten worse, just look at the Las Vegas shooting) and more, Trump has no idea what he is doing (and that's all I'm going to state because, his supporters get so easily offended), I also don't like the rise of the far right recently either. Socially, things just feel like a continuation of the mid 2010s too, the racism, SJWs, the Alt-Right and alot more. The economy is pretty decent though and my personal life has just been as bad (maybe worse) as the mid 2010s.

Here's how I break down the 2010s for me personally.

Late 2010s (2017 - present) Not the best

This is how I feel.  In my personal life, things are better than the mid 10s but I still prefer the early 10s.  In pop culture there are some aspects I like and others I don't as much.  The music is better in my opinion.

I really hate that racism, homophobia, misogyny, and religious fundamentalism have made such a comeback in politics.  It really sucks that we are likely to end the decade in much worse shape than where we began in terms of social progress, which is a lot to say considering that in 2010 we still had Don't Ask Don't Tell.  We saw too much progress too quickly during Obama's second term and everyone underestimated the resilience of the religious right.  They were supposed to be on their way out and now they are the dominant power in the country.  And it would be one thing if the overall nation was against Trump but he's extremely popular in most of the country.  He's popular because his supporters believe in the grand scheme of things his scandals don't matter as banning abortion and same-sex marriage and rolling back civil rights to the 1950s and forcing "Judeo-Christian" values on everyone.  That's where we are in America and it's a huge black eye on what otherwise would be a more fun era.

I'll get back to you on Jan 1st 2020 but so far I'm liking it better than the mid 2010s. I DETESTED the mid 2010s.
