Latest news is that the secured creditors of the legendary toy store are looking to resurrecting the brand. Apparently the bankruptcy auction did not yield any serious offers.
A positive sign is that Geoffrey the Giraffe made a showing at a recent Dallas toy show.
Lets hope they can pull this off. 8)

The one near my house has been sold and a zippy mart will go in its place.

This was all a ploy for them to sell off a bunch of old toys.
