The huge mattress sales outlet, Mattress FIRM has thrown in the towel and is the latest retailer to go belly up, filing for bankruptcy.

While the company's bankruptcy is seen by some as a "wakeup call" to the mattress industry, this may not really be so. Mattress FIRM expanded at a ridiculous rate; in my home town they had two stores literally within eyesight of each other. Crazy.
Now is the time to "go to the mattresses"... you'll be able to get a great deal on a mattress as the Mattress FIRM liquidates its inventory.

That is so stupid, It's been Sleepy's for so many years why would you go and change it to something else? ::)

Mattress stores are the most boring places on earth and they always seem shady. I couldn't care less if it went out of business.
