I'd say 2015. But who knows, 2019 might top it.

Yeah that year did have the 2012 hype stuff but thats about it

I'd say 2015. But who knows, 2019 might top it.
2015 had all those shootings in the 4th quarter plus Force Awakens
pop culture 2015 felt like very boring year tho, Summer 2015 was so lack luster

people on here were hyping 2015 on here like it was 1995 and 2005 before it started lol
the year proved to not deliver on the same level on quality lol

I disagree. I would consider 2015 to be the defining year of the '10s. A decade's zeitgeist is defined by more than whatever pop music the radio is playing.

Probably 2017. It was never ending Trump news but still felt core 2010s.
