When did this start ? I would have to say around 2012 when Netflix was at its peak.
I still find it very weird going into someones house and they have no TV

Never knew that. I don't know anyone who doesn't have a tv in their house other than my As***** of an Ex.

I went to 5 different houses to see friends this month and I still saw TV's.

I have never been to house with no TVs :o. No cable maybe, but there's always a TV.

I never knew this was a trend but as far as I know people still have TVs.

It's a trend in Brooklyn, I believe. But since you live in Manhattan you wouldn't know.

I don't think it's the fact that people don't have TV's, I believe it's people who are cutting their subscriptions with cable channels and people cutting cable completely. Cable and television networks have been on huge decline throughout this decade due to all the streaming apps and services you can use now to watch so many other shows. Like how many times have I said this now?
