Hey I'm hosting an early 10s party (I will be 30 soon and want to remind myself of my early-mid 20s).
I mean apart from Get Lucky, Happy, Royals, Wrecking Ball, Call Me Maybe, The Monster, We Are Young, Roar, Gangnam Style, Somebody That I Used  to Know and Blurred Lines. ;) Any other pop, rock, hip hop or dance defining hits that are good for an early 2010s nostalgia trip?

I especially totally missed on 2010-2014 movies and TV shows (apart from Bing bang theory, Community, Modern Family, Great Little Liars, and HIMYM). Maybe Her?

Please stick to 2010-early 2014. Mid and late 2014 no longer had an early 2010s feel with All about that bass and the likes. 😉

You're welcome.  Here's some more.  And I agree.  I miss the sound music back then had.  I personally think the difference in music between 2010 and 2018 is much larger than the difference between 2000 and 2008.  For music, 2009-2013 was kind of a special era.  Would you agree with that?

But I think the shift started in 2008 even as that's when Gaga released it and Duffy was also so not mid 2000s.

Oh yeah I forgot about The Hunger Games.  It was definitely an important movie and it kicked off the dystopian fiction movie fad.  That was one of the defining aspects of the mid '10s in my opinion.
