I've followed the board since 2008 at least. Maybe I have forum fatigue or sth but it feels very stale. It was more fun in the 2000s and early 2010s. :)

I know what you mean. Back in the early 00's we had posters like Andrew-TalkingWalnut, Absolutely Vile, and RockNRollFan. I think that Absolutely Vile passed away. :\'(
And a couple of years ago it seems like Maxwell Smart dropped out.
All of those posters gave this site the "wow factor".

inthe00s doesn't have legs, so there's no way it can jump in the first place.

Here goes another one of those threads. What your speaking from is just your own perspective. InThe00s was at its peak 2015-2016 when I was new. Its been fun on and off for me since 2017.

I don't think even with all of our users we could successfully jump a shark.

"Jumping the shark" means that some sort of bombastic event occurred with the intent of boosting fortunes, and instead had the opposite effect and accelerated the decline of something.
Such as when Fonzie jumped a shark tank with his motorcycle on Happy Days, ratings went in a tailspin.
I'm not aware of such an event here at InThe00s.
