Subject: Things from the 2010s that will age horribly?
Written By: Milk on 06/07/18 at 9:59 am
What do you think they'll be? I can see some of the fashion and makeup trends aging really badly.

Makeup trends from today will definitely age badly, no doubt about that. I think that undercut man bun will age badly as well. I'm thinking some of the music will age badly.

Yeah like the Instagram makeup fillers and all the other makeup styles for women of this decade too yeah I can't even imagine how bad that's going to age.

The posts that go "Even though I now have all the world's music in the palm of my hands I'm going to only listen to the Billboard 100 and omg it's a complete mess this is the worst decade everrrr. At least the 1930s had good music!"

YouTubers, specifically gamer ones, bc of bad video effects, overacting, dubstep music in the background. Their amateur way of editing and generic content have never been so great as young people think

Your username.
On-topic answer: Superhero shows and movies. They already seem pretty corny now, people are going to wrack their heads over how they got so popular.

The super bronze "glam" makeup is aging pretty badly.
A lot of the obnoxious sunglass trends from early in the decade are aging horribly

I'm not sure what you're saying by including the eye roll. Are you saying that Facebook and Twitter WILL age badly or they won't?
Personally I think Facebook will eventually fade away and be forgotten about but Twitter will likely morph into something else. I'm not quite sure what yet, but it will. At some point all of social media will undergo a massive shift, just like everything else.

They will. I virtually rolled my eyes because they are just so boring now.

Same, it will break my heart if they go completely out of style. Coming from an early 2004 baby, they are pretty addicting to say the least. :D

Technically they were "drop-crotch pants," i.e. sweatpants with a low crotch, which are even uglier 8-P

The parachute pants I remember clearly from thee 80s were, like almost all pants in the 80s, TIGHT. They were literally made out of the same material as parachutes, hence the name. They looked like this:

Parachute pants are often confused with so-called "Hammer pants", as popularized by famed rapper MC Hammer, but they are not the same thing at all:

Save for Mr. Hammer, I don't recall ANYBODY walking around the streets wearing those foolish, idiotic things. I DO recall many people wearing the above mentioned parachute pants, though thy obviously were pretty hideous too. I might also add, being tight as they were, and made out of the sheer-like parachute material they were, they left little to the imagination. ;D It's funny how some people will wear certain garments and be completely oblivious as to what they are revealing. A good example today would be the "leggings" that some women wear as pants.

I just wouldn't wear those walking down the street, just around the house.
