Subject: New Pop Punk was just played on KISS FM mainstream Radio (is it coming? )

In the last 7 hours ( I am driving in Jersey from DC) I heard 2 new pop punk songs playing on KISS I think.
I did a sound hound and found it was these 2 from the pop punk band Waterparks.

this is crazy I would have never thought I would hear pop punk on mainstream radio again, what is going on?
It is possible these could have been requested and not on a playlist?

I don't see any pop punk played in the last day. Kiss FM is a popular radio station moniker and I've heard plenty of stations use it that deviate from the typical Top 40 that the L.A. station plays. There is a Kiss FM in my town that is mostly adult Top 40. It could be that the specific station you heard was rock leaning.
