You were born in 1997. Using ages 3-12 for childhood, you were still 12 for some of 2010 up until you hit your 13th birthday. So you'd technically be partially a 2010's kid. Now, I don't like to use that definition for childhood, I tend to use core childhood ranges such as ages 6-10.

My core childhood was Late 2007 to Early 2013, when I was in elementary school.

If you didn't want to turn this into a debate, why would you even mention my core childhood range.

You'll be 15 going on to 16 when 2020 begins. A kid doesn't necessarily refer to a little kid, but also I big one (teenager.) Adolescence is apart of childhood.

(ME) I can take solice in being more of a 90s kid than you :) I don't know why they wouldn't accept me as a 2010s kid I used to wear snap backs just like 2010s kids growing up, in fact being born in 92 makes us the original 10s kids

A lot of people would say I'm not, but I consider myself partially an early 2010's kid, I was 11-12 from 2010-11, I still watched Disney/Nick shows like Victorious and Pair of Kings, played some video games like Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, it's not like I was just interested in kid things as I was interested in a lot of teenage things as well, but that kind of started when I was 8 or 9, doesn't mean I'd say 8 is where my childhood ended. :P

Well, when you think of it, ages 13-15 are still fairly young ages so I won't have a problem with padding out the term "childhood" with incorporating those years (so I would have an easy time being called an early-10s kid). Ages 16-17 are more of a transitional stadium into adulthood. And by 18, you're officially a grownass adult with still a teenager mentality and being ultra unexperienced, but still an adult I guess :).

Same here. I didn't actually feel like a teenager until 2014 or so.

Born in '98... Never had a myspace, but I did have Facebook way back when Pet Society was still a thing, and I remember my childhood consisting of Call of Duty MW2/BO2, The Sims 3, and Spongebob. I remember when crunk hip hop was everywhere as well as listening to early 10s hip hop on my iPod touch. Minecraft videos DOMINATED Youtube for a long minute. It's awkward for kids like me because we're like a hybrid of 2010s kids and 2000s kids. In 20 years, we'll all be considered the same generation tho lol. I consider anything before 13 to be your childhood tbh.
