I'm not sure if there was already a thread like th is but what will 2019 the last year of the 2010s could be like for music and pop culture? Could new artists be popular in 2019 into the 2020s?

It will be my last full year before becoming a college graduate.  :o
I think it will be a good year. It's hard to believe the '10s are almost over. I've had a goal of watching the turning of every year this decade on New Year's Eve; 2019 will be the last one. But I'll do the same in the '20s!

I'll be 26. Hopefully with more money :)

I want to go to Cuba or Mexico in February of that year to escape winter. A trip to my aunt's in Montréal in the spring won't be too bad either, I'll see if I have time. The summer is a tricky one, I can go to either South Korea, Japan (again), or Turkey. I don't have anything pencilled in for fall/early winter but I really want to go to Iceland (it's warmer than Canada in the winter), but that's not even in the planning stage haha.

A 2019 discussion on here will be great after summer ends when we are in the closing months of the year, September to December. 2018 is going by fast enough, but for me, I want to enjoy the rest of this school year and summer before thinking about 2019.

If anything 2019 is concerning since I'll be 17 and it'll be my last full year of high school. Now that the decade is ending, I've realized how time tends to creep up on us. I was a second grader kid in 2010 and three days away from turning 8. I'll be a senior and four days away from turning 18 when the decade ends. Did anyone who's roughly 10 years older than me feel the same way when the 00's were ending or when 2010 was coming?

Honestly it's scary how fast time passes. It's already the end of the decade but it feels like yesterday it was 2015 and we were only barely halfway through the 2010s. I mean, I'm going to college in just a couple of years, and that's super weird to me because in my mind college has always been this far away thing. I mean, I was in grade school almost half a decade ago! And I graduated middle school almost 2 years ago! Before I know it I'll probably be married with kids.

The funny thing is throughout the 2000s they didn't care if I was 17 or not so I bought as many M rated games as I pleased, but nowadays they're really strict about that stuff so I get carded all the time even though I'm way over 17. Or worse yet if my mom is with me, they'll ask her "are you sure you want to buy him this game? It has sexual violence and blood." Okay thanks lady, that's not her choice to make  ;D

I'll be 15 it will be awesome to end this decade at 15  :D when i started this decade at 6. Anyways i'll be 14 in 28 days so ill have to get through being 14  ;D

Violence in videogames was such a huge topic with a lot of controversy in the 2000s. No one seems to care about it these days ;D
