Perhaps next week when Mark Zuckerberg is finished with his testimony before the U.S. Congress times 2 it may be that the finishing lands on him if Congress decides to put a slap yo mama on him. I would not hold my breath on this since Congress's lameness renders it non effective and of no confidence, but they may put him in the hurt locker so that many of them can continue riding the gravy train as the 2018 mid term elections are just around the bend and coming now at warp factor 9.
Then what will he do? One possible scenario is that he change his last name to Suckerman. Then he can stand up a staff of graphic novel writers to publish a new novel with the main character being "Sucker Man". This could be huge! Think about the revenue this will bring in when next comes the first Sucker Man movie followed by a google of sequels and all the bling that folk will buy that Big Bling will get right on up and into all of our Face "Books". Maybe later a Showtime or HBO series or even Netflix. The possibilities are endless. Just imagine... ::)
I can hear them on the Canto plain in Tokyo when FB goes DOA. Japanese will take to the streets in vast throngs as they protest and chant Poncotsu wa Facu book, Poncotsu wa Facu book, Poncotsu wa Facu book... Not pretty. Kawaiee, so.

"He's dead, Jim"!
Kirk to Enterprise, beam down one body bag and standby to beam the red uniformed expendable crewman back up on my command. Kirk out. :\'( :(

It’s just a popularity trend graphic, you have to keep in mind that FB has 2 Billion of users, that graphic doesn’t affect too much to the company

But you can see Facebook is currently where MySpace was ca. 2010. Of course the decline is slower, but I will be surprised if Facebook remains popular into the 2020s.

I don't think you can read the graph like that. It just compares how the volume of search of Facebook compares to at its own peak. Seeing as it's around 30, if search for Facebook was 300 million at a day at its peak in 2013, that still means its being search 60 million times a day now. While MySpace's peak could have been 10 million a day, and a score of 30 for them means its now getting a paltry 3 million searches a day.
I'm also not sure how searches on google.com is indicative of popularity. People could easily type "facebook.com" into the address bar or have Facebook on their homepage. Snapchat and Instagram are also phone apps, searching for them on google.com is pointless since it won't actually lead you to the social media apps in question.
Since we know how many monthly active users most social media sites have, I don't see why we wouldn't just use that as a metric. Facebook is still by far the most popular social media site and nothing else comes close.

That chart is normalized though. 100 for snapchat is not the same as 100 for facebook. This is what it actually looks like when it’s not normalized.

Facebook is still (sadly) bigger than any other site, but is fortunately declining.

Yep, this is what I meant when I said you can't compare MySpace to Facebook on that graph. Facebook is still by far the biggest site.
And it isn't declining per se, only its search volume is declining. The reason it peaked in 2012/2013 is because Apple started selling iPhones and iPads with Facebook pre-installed. People could have been looking it up to see what all the fuss is about, but now Facebook has obviously reached market saturation and people have no need to look up what Facebook is on Google anymore.

It would be premature to call Facebook dead until there was a mass exodus of account ownership from the site. We might be seeing the beginning of that with the #DeleteFacebook campaign, but my impression is that has actually fizzled out?
