Not really. Most guys in their 20s who decide to grow facial hair, go for the full on beard look (much to my dislike).

they're acceptable for sure, just not popular.

Anyway, goatees are no big deal. It's not a "2010s things" but no one really gives a crap.

They are considered OK, but usually only when paired with a man bun.

Totally unrelated, but in my freshman year of college, I totally tried to do a soul patch. It was a dark time.
