I understand it's still way too early for 2010's nostalgia given that we aren't finished with the decade yet, but in the 2010's, unlike in previous decades, we live in a time period where we have apps like Instagram and Snapchat that we always post on and we can easily capture what is going on in the exact moment. With YouTube, there are billions of videos that were made in the 2010's. It kind of makes me wonder how we will look back on these say 15 years from now since a lot of the things we do are posted online now. Will the current music that is popular right now be on the throwback station 15-20 years from now? Will people be on YouTube 15 years from (if it even still exists then) and watch all the YouTube videos being made now and have a blast from the past? Imagine today's hip-hop being old school in 2040. :o

This is always what I thought. I feel like by 2029, these apps will be obsolete and no longer the "in thing". Who knows what will replace it? Snapchat and Instagram were to 2016 as to what Myspace was to 2006.

Yeah I predict 2010s nostalgia will be bigger than both '90s and '00s nostalgia. It will be like '80s nostalgia all over again, and that was/is huge. This decade was packed full of these little cultural fads and trends that in the future will be looked at as both cheesy and nostalgic.
