Let's talk about 2017 it can be anything events,was the year good or not,personal things that happen throughout the year.
For me personally 2017 was a great year honestly I feel like it was crazy like 2016 but not crazier than 2016,alot of stuff happened in 2017 North Korean missle crisis,Trump's Inauguration,Charlottesville and people like Chris Savino,Harvey Weinstein,Matt Lauer being fired to sexual allegations and harassment and let's not forget the solar eclipse.

I don't think 2017 sucked imo it was kind of unbalanced with crazy events happening but I think 2017 was decent.

Early 2017 was rough but once spring arrived it got way better.

2017 was kind of in middle, not too great or not too bad either. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10.

Because 2016 for me was AWESOME, Early 2017 was too. :P

Worst year of my life.

The first half of the year was okay, same as usual. But in July my grandfather got into a car accident and passed away. My little brother, whom was really close to my grandfather, starting slipping into depression slowly afterwards and lost interest in activities he used to do. His mood started changing rapidly and he lost friends. My stupid f*cking mother who only gives a sh*t about how well my brother and I do in school said that he was acting like that because he's trying to make her feel bad so he can get away with not doing too much homework or studying, but my dad knows what's truly wrong and because of that they started fighting and arguing more and more everyday. My mom says "he's only 12 he has nothing important to be worrying about." My dad noticed my brothers warning signs of depression so he set up an appointment, but my mom f*cking cancelled it and that made both of them on the verge of divorcing. School, on the other hand, has been a living hell. I appreciate my friends and how amazing they are, but there are another group of people who call me names, make fun of me for my interests, and mock me for the things I do.
Today my brother is better and his friends are back. My parents are arguing less and less but with how stupid and b*tchy my mom was during the whole recovery process I don't think their relationship and our family will ever be the same.

2017 was good. Of course the pop culture sucked but what year doesn't suck in that these days. All in all my personal life went really well that year.

2017 was the best year of my life so far. It was almost as good as 2013 even. I had lots of fun in the summer of 2017.

2017 was a great for me. There were some negative events that happened like the Charlottesville attack and the Las Vegas Strip shooting. However, it was a great year for me personally and I graduated from high school.

2017 was the best year of my life since 2009. I avoided any negative energy & stayed true to myself which lead to the right people in my life and hapiness. Summer was the best part about the year. I got to travel to Norway which is the country where i basically spent my childhood in and i got to meet some of my family members again & start College after that season. Pop culture was great too!! I miss it already. I would love to go back to that year! :)

Middle of the road year at its finest, which is better than the apocalypse that a lot of people were projecting it to be at the end of 2016 :D

In terms of pop culture and music, I would put 2017 in the lower end along with the early 2010s. Probably the third or fourth worst cultural year of the 2010s after 2012, 2011, and 2010. But for my personal life it was a great year.

Crazy year with all the events but personally it was good.

It's been a sheeshty, sheeshty, decade in my personal life.  5.5 still makes it my best year since 2011.  I would rate the years as follows.

unironically the worst year of my life. had cancer back then and got bullied at school and abused at home. music was lame too. the only good thing to come out of the year is horizon zero dawn and switch.
