I know its not hear yet but when do you guys think 5 G will be a huge stable and fully takeover 4G and will 5G be very useful in ways we never imagined.

They tested it out in the Pyeongchang Olympics!
They also tested out an SUV that drove itself from Seoul to Pyeongchang with no human intervention.

I'd expect 5G to be commercially available sometime around 2021-2023.

It will. It's very high frequency radio waves, which don't travel very far, so there's going to be a necessity for many, many towers.

5G is the biggest advance on Internet ever. It will connect entire cities, such as smart cars, street lights, traffic lights, etc. While people will use it with their AR goggles and drones
2030’s will be a very different place

Most networks are still rolling out 4G LTE, so I doubt 5G will roll out successfully anytime soon.

Most networks are still rolling out 4G LTE, so I doubt 5G will roll out successfully anytime soon.
You can still have 5G in some places and 4G LTE in others on the same network. I think it will roll out in big cities in the near future.

Apparently, even trees can block 5G frequencies, so there’s still a way to go. I do hope it replaces 4G sometime soon, like in 2020.
