I only watched a little bit of it. I saw the ball drop and watched some singers perform. The Korean boy band was good. Now I'm wasting time in front of the computer again! ;D

I didn't stay up to see the ball drop, the thing is I'm tired and now I have a part time job I come home and feel quite bushed. There was a time when the family would sit around the TV and watch the ball drop with friends having snacks and sandwiches until after midnight but we don't really do it anymore because My Father goes to sleep closer to 10pm and I follow lead so doing all that is in the past.

Does anybody ever get a sense of dread when the ball has finally dropped and you're in the new year? I don't know why, but for the last few years, the official beginning of the new year has consistently made me feel a sense of dread and/or remorse.

Now that we are fully in 2018, the year 2020 really doesn't seem that far away anymore. In fact, January 1, 2016, is as far away as January 1, 2020. We are now officially closer to 2020 than 2015. I also can't believe that 2008 was a decade ago.

I agree. I try to think of all the good things that I will do in 2018, and I learn from my mistakes from other past years. I hope 2018 is really good.

Two of my most favorite singers of all time performed on New Years Eve. Mariah Carey and Britney Spears. That may be a good sign that 2018 is going to be a great year for me! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I watch the ball drop every year, on the New Years eve with Carson Daly. I don't know why but I was so happy when the ball finally went down and it said 2018. :)

Yeah, I liked the stage set where Britney was in that big tree all lit up in green.

I think mainly it's the feeling of the previous year just being gone, just like that. Like maybe I didn't appreciate it when I had it.

Happy New Year's 2018 guys!
I just hanged out with my family at home while watching the annual broadcast of the Times Square ball drop on CNN and ABC. Nothing big, just everyone in my house had dinner and some drinks. I'm turning 21 in September, and I had some wine for the first time. I was really thinking about waiting until my 21st birthday, but I don't really know what harm a little bit of Stella Rosa wine will do to me since I could practically get wasted in almost every other country if I wanted to with it being a legal purchase by me. Happy New Year's guys!

Yes, in the U.S., the legal drinking age is 21 but in about 31 states any person under 21 can drink alcohol as long as it's in a private residence and it's from the consent of your parents or legal guardian or adult family members.

Yes, did you not read my comment? I feel optimistic about 2018. Also, I wasn't talking to you I was talking to LooseBolt, who said that he feel sad about the new year and I asked him why he felt that way.
