West Virginian son Chuck Manson is reportedly in grave condition at a California hospital.

Can't say I have any empathy for the guy. Hard for me to admit, as we're all human. But in his case, I'm unsure if he is or not.

Hard to tell. The news stories quote people as saying "he will not recover this time".
I was hoping he'd make it into the 2020's as an example of what "life in prison" means.

He keeps making excuses for himself goading those people to kill for him. At least that's my impression.
We give enough attention to crazies already, which enables other unsteady people to commit more crimes/murder/etc/etc.
