I use Discord, but I go on rather obscure web forums such as this one and PersonalityCafe. I only use Skype because my parents are on it - I'm glad they're still on it because it means that they won't know what I talk about on Discord.

Good bye AIM. Wasn't much into the messaging during their heyday in the late 90s/early 00s, but it is bit surprising to hear that they're shutting down. Didn't even know they were still running. Nowadays I mainly use Discord to chat with buddies. Before Discord I used Skype (but I quit Skype since it was a buggy/glitchy mess).

I used AIM once in 2006 and it was trash compared to MSN, which was merged into Skype in 2011 or 2012. The good die young.  :\'(

Aim was the only one I liked.. I knew they were gonna close it when they disabled all 3rd party clients from accessing thier network a few months back ...... Thats when I stopped using it when they blocked me from 5.5.3598ca (Canadian version)


Pretty sad.......... Everything keeps getting worse and worse......

I think the e-mail will stay. It's only the instant messenger that's shutting down.
