Well if they're like me, they will look back on the decade prior to their childhood with a lot of fondness. Although, they will probably be too engrossed with their smartphones to even give a crap. :P

Well if they're like me, they will look back on the decade prior to their childhood with a lot of fondness. Although, they will probably be too engrossed with their smartphones to even give a crap. :P
I don't know. I wonder if we will get to a point where the kids reject smartphones and social media or at least use them in different ways. You already somewhat see this with Facebook. Facebook is primarily Gen Y and isn't as popular with Gen Z.

I don't know. I wonder if we will get to a point where the kids reject smartphones and social media or at least use them in different ways. You already somewhat see this with Facebook. Facebook is primarily Gen Y and isn't as popular with Gen Z.
By kids do you mean teens? Because little kids are too instinctual to decide to not play video games/iPads anymore if that's what parents give to them.

My granddaughter is now 14 months old and she is already showing signs of swiping fingers on tablets.

Around a year old and can already get the hang of how a tablet works? Quite amazing when you think about it. I couldn't handle electronic equipment until I was about 4-5.

I wasn't hating I was asking what would they think about this decade. Heck I have a 3 year old cousin and I hope for her child hood to be great in the 2020s.
