They like being a gangster, just sort of a different type of gangster. It's still cool to be a self-aggrandizing arse, it's just it's more through their crappy social media posts, abrasiveness, ugly tattoos and piercings, and all the other trash that wants to keep people like me out of any level of acceptance.

They wanna be gangsters, but they're just wannabe gangsters. The moment they become "actual" gangsters they start getting them selves arrested. They think it's cool, but most of them are just try hards.

Teenagers are teenagers. Individually they might be okay, but collectively... Yikes. I thought that nowadays they would be better behaved than my peers were when we were their age, but I got on a bus full of high schoolers the other day, and nope, still the same. If I was there for a minute longer I would've jumped out the window.

It's funny, though, because there's evidence that the current generation of young people is the most well-behaved. ::)

No, it's hip and cool to be effeminate now, not a gangsta. Kanye West killed gangsta in 2007 with his Graduation album surpassing 50 Cent's album that year.
