Subject: Hope/Change: A playlist I painstakingly made to tell the story of the 2010s

Hey everyone. First of all, thank you all so much for helping me put together the Peak 2000s playlist, it looks fantastic now (it should be almost done, I think, unless I'm missing something obvious). Anyway, I'm posting a playlist below to let you all know this isn't my first rodeo; in February, I also started a playlist that encapsulates musical trends from about summer 2008 through the November 2016 election. I was still in a state of trauma from the Trump win probably.

Anyway, I thought you all would enjoy this, even if you don't like the music itself, so I'm posting it here. It's pretty much 100% complete, although I do still add songs on occasion as I remember things I had forgotten to account for in larger trends and the like. I have purposely excluded one huge trend from music in the 2010s though, which is independent artists on Band Camp, Soundcloud, etc., obviously because in many cases those songs and artists aren't available on Spotify, and because their popularity is often localized or too difficult to track for a dearth of data. Also please note that the song list is accurate down to the year, but not down to the day - it's just a general idea of the sound of each year.
