Subject: Vampire Diaries finally comes to an end.
Written By: mqg96 on 03/10/17 at 11:55 pm
I never watched Vampire Diaries because it's not my type of show (A.K.A. teen genre), but I remember some kids talking about it in school since the series began, and Vampire Diaries had one of the highest viewed premieres in CW history. The show was mixed with teen drama, horror, fantasy, and romance. It ran from September 10, 2009 up until March 10, 2017 yesterday from when I posted this thread. Vampire Diaries came out right around the time there were teen movies franchises like the Twilight series or Easy A. It's crazy how this show lasted so long. It's the end of an era for CW if you were a big fan of the show.

I watched a little of the show, but I never got too into it.
A sign of the end of the mid-10's for sure.

Could this be a sign of the Core 2010's ending...

As somebody who never watched an episode, I feel surprised that it's coming to an end.
Could this be a sign of the Core 2010's ending...
It'll might end later this year or next year.

Forgot this show even existed. I'm probably not missing much though, since this came out during the whole Twlilight-esqe "pop-vampire" phase 8-P. This show seemed to have outlasted that trend, though.

True Blood also came out around the same time.

I think the core 2010s will come to an end when Game of Thrones ends next year.
