It all depends upon the individual (and the workplace). I've had both male and female bosses, some good and some bad, and their gender really wasn't a factor in how effective they were.

For what it's worth, my current supervisor is male and he's a complete sh!thead.  ;D

During my life, I've had a bit of both and I think I work well with male bosses rather than female ones.

I've only ever had male bosses and I only didn't like the one in my second job. Well, I didn't hate him or argue with him but he gave me a lot of pointless busy work.  :-X

I might sound PC but while one sex have a tendency to be more one thing than the other, it really does depend on the individual. You just need a string of ahole male bosses to teach you that.

They do. I'm female and I've observed this. There was one who singled certain people out to be nasty to more than others, while different people doing the same thing got away with it. The males who were lousy were at least fair in doling it out to everyone equally. Then there was one I had who I swear was ageist against the older workers. People suck.

maybe it's because they have problems at home and they tend to bring it to the workplace.

The show is about a crazy, evil president getting himself into outrageous scandals, but he's nowhere near as crazy or outrageous as Trump ;D
