Subject: Sir Rod Stewart promises to wear his knighthood well
Written By: Philip Eno on 10/11/16 at 7:02 pm
Rod Stewart has said he is on "cloud nine" after receiving his knighthood from the Duke of Cambridge. Wearing his tartan trews and with wife Penny Lancaster and their two sons at his side, Sir Rod said he wished his parents could have been at Buckingham Palace to see him collect his honour. The 71-year-old, who was awarded the honour in recognition of his services to music and charity, said of meeting Prince William: "We talked about music and he said: 'It's great that you're still going' and I said: 'I have to - I've got eight children!'.

What comes to mind is his title to his name makes it 'Stairrod' Stewart?
