What if we have no good decades until the 2040s?

It will be better. Hopefully I've moved out, found love, had kids or something by then. Technology will be better, global poverty will be a lot lower, less people will die of disease. It's going to be okay.
I'm more worried about 2040+ for global warming.

And once we reach that time, antibiotics won't really work since bacteria has been becoming resistant to it. Oh, and nuclear war will probably happen within the next 80 years, it's possible it won't, but you know.

We could literally sit for hours looking at hundreds, or thousands, of angles, of how the next 43/44 years are going to be.
Perhaps there will be robots in schools, or whatever.
