What is it with songs these days being so slow and not upbeat? We can't seem to get past 110 bpm in 2016. ;D
But in all seriousness, Katy Perry's song isn't bad. I like the G-Easy portion of Britney Spear's song, good flow.

I didn't know you were a Britney fan until, I think a few days ago, when you wrote you liked Britney.
It was such a fun time to be a fan during her third album, and In The Zone. It still is, but those albums were my favorite eras of hers.

It's kind of those types of movies, where most people aren't going to admit they like it. Yes, I like it. It wasn't the best movie of all time, but an early 00's movie I like.

That was one of the first movies I remember coming out in the theater. (I remember movies I saw on VHS and VCD from when I was 2-4, but my earliest memories of movies that came out in the cinema appear to be from 2001 and 2002.)

Britney was going through stuff, so in her sensitive state, she chose Kevin. :-\\
Fans usually blame her 'downfall' on him, but there were already small signs, here, and there, of her imperfections before. I sure as heck don't trust Kevin, but I never had a seething hate for him, either. I found Chaotic kind of a negative career move, on Britney's part. But maybe it at least kept her in the spotlight.

I'm sorry, but I get the impression that Britney doesn't want to be famous anymore. She's not even trying. My bet is that she wants to fade slowly into the background.

I'm not really a Madonna fan, but the only Queen of Pop is Madonna. 300 million records worldwide. Plus, her influence is huge.
Until some girl, or woman, surpasses that record, Madonna is still the Queen of Pop. Although her last album Rebel Heart, to put it nicely, didn't do so well.

I'm going to be real for a minute.
I feel that Britney is more interested in her children, then her career. I believe it's partly because of the 2006 to 2008 era, where she had her breakdown. The paparazzi humiliated her, and I can't blame her for not wanting to try as hard to be famous, as back then. And it could also be partly because of lack of drive, or lost of interest. Or all of the above.
Her release of the alternative, and more boring, version of her 'Make Me' video, makes me suspicious that she doesn't have the desire to be as big as she was, like during 1999 to 2004.
