Veteran actor Erik Estrada, probably best known for his role as Officer Paunch in the 1970's show CHiPS, is now a real-life cop. 8)

Estrada is now working as a cop for the St. Anthony, Idaho PD. He is focusing on Internet child predators.

Wow. So I guess he's like the 2010s Chris Hansen, only he doesn't get his own show. But at least being a cop is good for the community.

I do remember that he trained to be a real-life cop some yrs ago; guess he finally reached his goal!
I still enjoy watching him on CHiPs. :)
