Gord Downie (52), the lead singer and founding member of the Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer :(

They were Canada's biggest rock band of the 90s, but they had very little success outside of Canada. They were perhaps best known in America for the 1994 song 'Courage' which was Top 20 on the US Rock chart. June of this year will see the release of their 13th album titled 'Man Machine Poem'

It's still a seal of death. Besides, terminal cancer often takes less than a year to kill somebody.

Well, at least he could probably survive 2016. Or unless he dies early, not that I would correctly predict that.
