Subject: Finding Neverland to close on Broadway, Weinstein confirms

The musical adaption of Finding Neverland is to close on Broadway, producer Harvey Weinstein has confirmed. The show will be performed in New York for the final time in August, 18 months after it opened. A national tour followed by a run in London's West End will still go ahead as planned. Weinstein also announced that a film version of the stage musical will be produced. Finding Neverland originally started life as a non-musical film starring Johnny Depp. It was released in 2004 by Miramax, the company co-founded by Weinstein.
