Subject: Trainspotting Sequel Starts Shooting Next Month

The long-awaited sequel to Trainspotting will start shooting in Scotland in May, actor Robert Carlyle has revealed.
Carlyle, who is to reprise the role of thug Begbie, said the script for the new film is "absolutely fantastic" and stronger than the first movie, which became a blockbuster hit in 1996.
The actor made the comments while speaking alongside the original book's author, Irvine Welsh, in Edinburgh to mark 20 years since the original film.
Carlyle said: "We start shooting, I understand, in the middle of May and I think it's going to be pretty much 50-50 between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
